About Us
The Heath Gallery, located in a landmark townhouse in Central Harlem’s historic Mount Morris Park district, is one of a row of eight Queen Anne style houses designed by Alfred Zucker & Co. in 1886. The gallery was founded by husband and wife artists, Thomas Edwin and Saundra Alexis Heath. The Heath’s opened the gallery in 2002 at first as a home to exhibit Thomas’ art and soon thereafter to exhibit other emerging and under represented artists with priority given to Harlem-based artists. In 2014 Heath Gallery opened the door to HangNight™ , a spontaneous showcase for all art forms conceptualized by emerging curator Kai Heath.
