Opening Reception, October 8, 6-9pm
Since We're Here… is a group exhibition curated by Yvena Despagne of modern art by Haitian contemporary artists. The exhibition highlights 13 contemporary Haitian artists, ranging from self-taught to academically trained and their stories of race and culture expressed through art. With Haiti being the first Black Republic, the art of these and other contemporary Haitian artists serves as a biography of Haitian creativity and a revival of Haitian art.

Nathalie Jolivert | Charles Jean-Pierre | Naderson Saint-Pierre | Sebastian Pierre | Nadine Renazile
