Larry Bentley Opens At Heath Gallery

Heath Gallery is pleased to present the artwork of Larry Bentley,  Oct. 20-Nov. 11, 2023. The artist’s opening reception takes place Oct. 20, 6-8pm. 

Originally from Jacksonville, Fl.,  Bentley, taught himself to paint during the pandemic shutdown. 

In 3 short years, he’s already received validation from the NYC design community including commissions from the NY Design Center, a licensing deal with Crate & Barrel and a feature in NY Magazine. 

Having spent 10 years exposed to great art through work at both the Met and Sotheby’s, Bentley is still surprised at his good fortune. 

“I’m living proof that it’s never too late to follow your creative passion.” 

The essence of Bentley’s artwork is Hard Edge, Geometric Abstraction, Color Field and Minimalism. 

His work is both influenced by and a homage to Mid Century Modern art/artists and the minimalist ethos and aesthetic of that time. 

At 6’7” inches in stature Bentley is a standout in any room.
